Another wood hunt

I went out to a site that had a couple of old foundations and where there was a documented find of an 1830 Capped Bust dime. Unfortunately I didn't have any such luck but further in the woods I did come across a damaged shoe buckle. I tried to research it but there is just a ton of information on the web that it was difficult to find a match. I'm guessing the early 1700's. All the parts move so it was still a neat find for me.

I went to a second site which was listed as a park but was mostly a small area that had some trees and not much else. I ended up with a metal plaque (4 inches long) for a company (which if my research is correct) that made stoves in the late 1800's to the early 1900's.

Thanks for looking.

Dan, thanks for correcting my estimated date on the buckle.

Thank you all for taking the time to post a comment. After Dan's incredible find, this seems so blah!
Good luck everyone.

Great pair of finds. Hard enough to find a complete shoe buckle and even more uncommon to have all moving parts. Gratz

Nice! Those are two great finds right there. I'd keep working the site that gave up the buckle if I were you!
