1800's property, weight and size of a dollar, has thick ridges the same as a dollar. I dont know, I see no coin markings at all just to crusted, It's the shape of a dollar but in spots it almost looks hammered....

It looks like it has a reeded edge? Weird that it would be so corroded if it's made out if silver, or even clad.

Interesting find! I hope you find out what it is!
 
I know, I have only pulled one silver out of the ground that was black today I still wear the ring. The weight is 27.5 grams, the soil is def rich in salt very rich.....

I'm just excited this could be my first big boy dollar......
 
THanks for looking, took a hammer to the coin. It looks like a blank to a dollar, same size weight and rigdes on the sides no stamp on ethier side, oh well >:{
