Beautiful Old Indian

Digger Don

New member
It's been getting harder and harder to find new hunting ground lately. My finds have been slim, but I guess if it was easy it wouldn't be fun.
On each of the last two Saturdays I dug 2 Indians and a rosie.

My first hunt I dug a 76 Indian & on the second hunt a beautiful 74.

That 1874 Indian head Cent is one of the nicest I've ever seen! How wonderful that BOTH sides of the coin look great. It has very little wear and the patina is incredible.

Gorgeous! :loveit:

Congrats, Don! :clapping:

I love the look of a clean, sharp indian and that 1874 is about as good as it gets! Great date too!

Can't beat a coin like that!!! Nice pic too!! WOW...I looked back three times now...that's an amazing strike, patina, has everything! Congrats, Don!!

That 74 is awesome! I agree, it's getting tough to find good hunting grounds. Been feeling the pinch the last couple years, but this year has been the worst.
Good luck in the future finding better places, and keep finding those awesome keepers like that IH!

I bought it in a coin shop and flicked it into his plug hole when Don wasn't looking. Don't tell.
