Todd & me went back to a site we found a couple weeks ago.this time we fanned out and fanned back in  was working a iron infested area near the well and was able to pluck out 3 coppers.funny how ya been over a area then for some strange reason ya go back and it's like whoa how did i not hear these signals before:shocked01:.
nabbed another copper at a cabin site we had found a few weeks ago.
was gettin late in the day and Todd said hey .Ya wanna go back up to the site where I dug my Script Artillery button months ago.
I said sure lets go. swinging about 10 mins and todd says hey grab your stuff i found another cellar hole!
that site didn't contain alot of targets but i grabbed 2 shoe buckles to end the day.
nice way to break out of a month long copper slump.coins were a KGI,KGII, 1827 matron head and a 1848 Braided hair
Todd did awesome as well!

WTG on breaking outta that slump Dave! Was a nice weekend to be out before the Polar Vortex comes in later this week.

Congrats on breaking the slump. Only 67 coppers this year- that's one hell of a slump:hystericallaugh:
4 coppers, 2 shoe buckles & a bunch of buttons, I'd say that's an awesome day. :thumbsup01:

I love when there are older holes near the main hole! That's an old buckle!...and complete! Awesomeness once again!

Breaking out of a slump....heck you destroyed it. Nice coppers and lovely shoe buckles. Yeah you certainly are over it!:congrats:

Kinda jealous of those coppers over here Dave  and man you're on a roll with those complete shoe buckles :wow: Congrats on an excellent hunt guys. Way to break the slump

Have a good one

I love that fat buckle Dave. There's something about it that just looks so.... I don't know. I just love it!!

Very nice bunch of finds for sure :thumbsup02: I've always wanted to try an MXT pro but never have, I already know what the MXT is capable of.

Sunday was a another great day Dave. We've been killing it at these sites!
Folks, trust me when I say that no one is happier than I am about Dave breaking out of his month long copper slump. I was starting to fear for the safety of my equipment and constantly checking my back pack to make sure my coins weren't walking away...:poke: Besides, it's no fun hunting with a grumpy partner:hystericallaugh:

I am very happy you had a good day Dave,
Sincerely

:lol: I've seen him when he's "jones-ing " for a copper and its not pretty either , that coil whipping back and forth in an irate fashion!:hystericallaugh:

If you're going to break out of your copper slump, you may as well find FOUR of them! :thumbsup02:

Four different ones too. AND two nice shoe buckles!

:congrats:

Great finds Dave. I'm always amazed at the quality of the buckles you guys find...especially the ornate ones that have detail or plating or even solid silver. Congrats!
