Bucket List Coin!

I've been hitting a site that should be producing oodles of coppers but as yet has produced NONE! I think the place is hexed  I'm not allowed in on Sat mornings as the hunters are there, so I headed out to a field that was disced last spring. I found a cute little buckle and my first ever flying eagle cent!
A silver spoon bowl and some other stuff from the other site rounded out the week. Thanks!!

Congrats on the Flying Eagle Cent, Drew! Very clear date of 1858 on it. This is a coin that is still on my bucket list.

:congrats:

Thank you fellas! You'd think with a 25,000,000 mintage there'd be more showing up. I saw one being dug years ago, but that's it, until this one. I thought it was a fatty when I dug it, low numbers and thick.

Nice job and congrats on your first FE Drew! Funny how this hobby works. I found a fairly decent 1857 FE in my second year of hunting, but don't find nearly the coppers you all pull out of the ground. Heck, the Classic Head LC I posted a few days back was only my 2nd LC of the year! All the best.
