This past Saturday the temps were in the mid 30's and the 6'' of snow from the previous week had melted. So I ventured to the spot where I found the 5 silvers at a few weeks before. The first silver was obvious...12-46 at 6-7 inches and it was the 1936 merc. Then I found a Rosie basically in one of my plugs. I was happy with the 2 silvers so I decided to go to another older spot that I know holds some old coins since the place is 160 years old. I decided to dig anything deep. I came across a 12-39 signal not terribly deep but I dug anyway and out came a 1914D Barber Dime! Very surprised to see it but there was some trash in the hole that mixed the signal up a bit. I was very pleased to get a trifecta!

Also managed another merc, war nik, 1920 Buff, and a 1896 indian.
It was a fantastic end to 2017!
Thanks for looking - Jared
