Get soooo pumped for a hunt that its hard to sleep? It's like being a kid and knowing that your going to Disneyland in the morning! I got permission to hunt a very historic house that was built in 1878. That's pretty dang old out my way. In fact... It will be the oldest property I've ever hunted. I can't tell you much more except we will be filming a new episode of Dirt Fishin America this Thursday. Has it been hunted? Will we strike out? Or will we strike gold? I personally am hoping that we come up with a gold coin or something seated? Time will tell. Happy hunting.

It's been snowing for days here so don't leave us hanging! :-> Living vicariously through your post is going to be as close to metal detecting as I get for weeks. lol
It was a beautiful 60 degree day with light wind,You can hear the cardinals chirping in the background and you are detecting a 1850s Victorian yard and the soil is wonderfully moist but not muddy you get a high pitch squil fromyour etrac a solid signal you dig a perfect plug and at the bottom of the hole there she lays a beautiful 1806 drapped bust half dollar in perfect shape with a mintage of 839,576 its a wonderful find wouldn't that be a great day it could happen and it will happen because if you stick to it dreams become reality! :grin:
