First field/cellar hole hunt today...a few decent finds

Hi all,

Had the opportunity to invite one of my friends (Peter) over from northern NY this afternoon to the New England side of Lake Champlain to hit a few permission sites I had access to here in the Champlain Valley. Alas, he came away with much better than I (Draped bust 1803 LC and several nice early buttons) but was happy for him considering a $20 ferry fare and a 1 1/2 hour trip over. Bottom line, just great to get out with friends in some nice early spring weather for my first relic hunt of the year. Yes, the frost is FINALLY out of the ground up here! Regardless, my Fisher F2 wouldn't have detected the LC (8-10") anyway (his XP deus barely picked up a signal). Anyway, back to my few finds worth posting here...a musket ball and a nice early intact crotal bell (flower petal design no initials). Sorry, no pictures of the 1 lb of junk iron I also pulled. Thanks for looking.
