Hunting Season

Decided to do a little cellar hole search on some of the seasonal roads in this area. Found a couple but will have to wait until the spring to do my hunting. There where other hunters in the area but they weren't using metal detectors. The bullets where flying, not a good time to be in the woods. :white:usaflag::

Swing, duck, cover. Not a good way to detect. rofl

Remember where they are and go back when it's safe. No need to take a bullet for
some old coins. They'll still be there in spring.

Not a good time to be woods hunting. Lots of hunters shoot at any motion without ever centering on a target 8/

it is definately nerve racking to hear shotgun blasts around you while your detecting :shocked04:stretcher: becareful out there and wear that blaze orange , another reason to detect with a friend .

It's always unnerving to hear that sound when detecting. When I have NOT been in the woods it's easier to make my presence known to hunters. In open farm fields that may be divided by small stands of woods I've been more comfortable and visible. Blaze orange of course and I've honked my horn repeatedly if I hear gunshots while getting out of my vehicle.
Be safe.

I detected in blaze orange this week because deer hunting is in full swing hear in WI. You can not be too safe when the bullets are flying.

I find myself saying all (well, most) of my thoughts out loud while hunting in the woods.
Sometimes I sing. My partner was laughing at my rendition of I Hunt In Fear That You'll Think I'm a Deer!

If I know I will be hunting in woods or fields close to woods. I always wear my hunter orange hat and vest. Be careful out there.

I agree with the rest of the team. The family will frown on you being in the hospital over the holidays, they would be even more unhappy with you mounted over the fireplace. :frozen: :frozen: :clapping:
