Last hunt of 2010

Amazing weather in Central Ohio today. Hit an old farmhouse with my detecting buddy Suzanne today. We were hoping for Indians, but came up short in that department. I am three short of 50 Indians for the year. :( Nothing older than a 1930 wheat cent at this place that clearly dated back to 1840-1850. She found three silver quarters :shocked04: -1952 and two 1956 and a few wheats. I got a 1935 dime and a wheat. Later I stopped off at an old school and came up with a few wheats and a 1941 dime. Not a bad way to end the year with two silver dimes. Takes me to 167 silver for the year, not as good as I had hoped, but I'll try not to complain. ;)

Very nice hunt Nick. No Indians, but silver isn't too shabby lol I have had the same results in a lot of still standing old homes. The main reason around here is the sheer number of junk targets masking the deeper targets. Slow, and from all directions, and with smaller coils, is the only way I have found to get some of the deeper, older coins. But if they ever move some dirt there :shocked04: Still must have been nice to be able to hunt, Congrats on a last minute adventure :clapping:

Sounds like you did great for the year nick. Congratulations on the final hunt of the year. That's the way to take out the year!
