My first gold and some silver too!

Went to a friend's to help her find a gold earring and instead found her mother's gold class ring.

Her mom has been gone many years now, so it is extra special to her. From 1936 and engraved with her mom's initials inside. She was shocked by the find and of course she gets to keep it!


And then I found a Franklin half (square nail didn't quite pierce it & lots of nicks, not from me!) and 2 rosies in her front yard!

No, she had no idea her mom had lost it! Her mom had lived with her for 10 yrs before she passed away...

The funny thing is that Susan was out in the yard with me, urging me to hunt. C'mon, c'mon show me how it works Tana! I swung and got signal on that ring immediately. We were both quite stunned :shocked01: I said Cardome 1936 and she was like omg that is my mom's...

Well, feast and famine... I hunted for 4 hours today at a Mason lodge (built in 1963) and all I found was clad, clad, clad! And a couple old keys.
