My very first gold ring

I spent most of the day doing chores and when I got done I felt a bit tired and was going to take a nap but thought that would be shameful to waste a beautiful mid 50 degree afternoon.

Decide I would go out for an hour or two. Went to an area where I have found a few old coins in the past but not much else.

After an hour of digging junk I found my first gold ring. It hit 37 VDI at 1 . Thought for certain it was gonna be another pull tab.

Hunted another half hour of digging more junk and called it a day.

Congrats on the ring Cris! Keep digging the cruddy signals as they seem to give the best stuff. If nothing else you'll be able to retire after cashing in the aluminum poptops....
