Hello all. As the name suggests, I'm from germany near muenster. Yup, a kRAuT.

My first detectors, when I started this hobby in 1991, were home made. Being a skilled electronic technician the electronics wasn't a problem. The worst thing was building the search coils. After digging a lot of shallow iron and trash I decided in 1994 to own my first real detector, a Wilson Relic&Coin IV.
Till now a lot of different detectors from different brands were used. Up to date I'm hunting with a Fisher CZ-70 Pro, a Tesoro DeLeón and every now and then a MXT.

I really enjoy reading the posts here and watching what every one dug up from the past.

Welcome to the forum. In 2002 I did a little detecting near the village of Wyhl, about 30 minutes from Freiburg. Didn't find much. Not enough time to find where I should have been.
