Nice little 1600's buckle today

Hi Diggers,
I got out for a couple hours this morning. Tom and I detected a corn field he got us permission for and then we hit some woods up above the old village. I didn't have a banner day by any stretch of the imagination but I did get a great little buckle that dates to the 1600's! I also found 4 toasted modern coins (1851, 1874, and 2 with no dates). Here's a pic and thanks for looking. Happy Digging!

I tend to only check out the coin finds and miss out on the unique relic finds that everyone posts. Congrats on a nice buckle find, but I have to admit I like your coin posts a tad more. Thx WD

Amazing old buckle, Dave! It looks tiny. Very cool that it's complete, and it really cleaned up well. Nice!

Sorry you only found "modern" coins from the 1800s.

:congrats:
