My wife kept telling me that the garbage disposal in our kitchen sink was making a strange noise. After investigating it myself, I found the culprit.

Oops. :embarrassed:

Oh well, at least it wasn't an 1885 V Nickel! I guess I should start cleaning my finds in the basement sink instead of in the kitchen. lol

I saw on another forum where the same thing happened to a guy, but it was with a Barber Dime. Ouch.

Whoa! :shocked03: Yeah, seeing a nice V nickel get beat up like that would not have been a pleasant thing to see.

rofl You can't blame the kids for that one... it's dirty.
Dana strictly prohibits me from cleaning in the kitchen sink. \:hammer: Downstairs only.

I don't know Tony? It still looks better than most of the zinc pennies I find. lol By the way, I am banned from the kitchen sink as well. :embarrassed:

I haven't yet reached the banned stage. But given time....

Tony, you should rebury that coin, someone will dig it up and think that they have an error coin lol

After at least two major operations to the disposal, I have learnt to use the strainer. Been there, done that!

lol lol been there too Tony rofl lol i've been banished to only use the soak sink downstairs in the laundry room
