Got out nice and early this am to a balmy 24 degrees. Headed back out to an old spot of mine. Finds were tough but was able to snag the SLQ (1917 Variety 1), 2 Merc's (1917, 1918-D), Dog Tag & 2 buttons at the 1st sight.

Decided to head down the old road to another site and as I was walking I saw at about 100 yards a coyote trotting the opposite direction I was going. Man that thing was big, probably the size of a German Sheppard.

Got to my other site and snagged the Barber (1906), IH (1884), 3 Wheaties(1900, 1917-D, 1925), my 2nd NY Municipal Police button from this site. Also got these 2 Suspender clips.

HH!,
Roger

LMFAO !!!!! :hystericallaugh:

Congrats on all your finds Rebel!!! Love the early SLQ and police button :thumbsup02:

Looks like you rubbed the dirt off the slq a bit. Congrats on the silver. The police has been losing a few of those buttons, but they don't lose the perps? I wonder what that item with the word STAR is.

Well you were amply rewarded for braving the elements, nice SLQ and other silvers. Great button and relics you get an official "Done Good"! :thumbsup01:

Terrific variety of wonderful finds! :clapping:

I really like the Type I SLQ! They don't seem to turn up too often. (I have never found a Type I.) Bonus that it has a legible date! :thumbsup02:

Band-Aid Sticker, LOL! Now that is one ugly mug! Fell outta the ugly tree & got hit by all the branches, LOL!

Lots of everything!....I've left a site because the coyotes started yippin and yahooin. Disconcerting to say the least. Nice job Roger!

Nice digs Roger! A SLQ with a readable date is rare. Dave and I heard some coyotes howling on our last hunt but their not much of a threat

Nice SLQ and Barber dime yet to find either one day it will happen :crossfingers: ......Congrats on a great hunt:clapping:
