Two Hours at a Baseball Field project

I found this torn up baseball field Friday evening on my way home from work. I spent about two hours there this weekend and found 11 wheat cents, a 1939 Merc, a 1950 Rosie, and a whole pile of trash not shown. I am going to try and hit this project very hard in the next week or two since I have not even covered a small fraction of the dirt there yet. I am hoping for a bunch more silver and some old nickels!

You have a sixth sense at finding them torn up sites lol Some of them wheats go back well into Mercury territory. You should get more silver there. Good luck!!!

No kidding! lol
I don't know how you do it.... but you've gotta eye for these projects! :shocked04:stretcher: lol
Nice start! Congrats!
Like George said, I'm sure there's more silver to be had there. thumbsup01

Darren, very nice that you spotted this field. :perfect10: I guess any tear out is able to produce. As already stated, there has to be more silvers just waiting for you. Last year myself and others that I hunt with found 4 of these parks and scored big.

:congrats:

Nice collection of wheats and silver. Your post was very timely as I just found a really old deserted ball field but sadly the town has sold the property and it is now fenced in with 'No Trespassing' signs all over the place. There are three flowering type of trees about 10 feet tall growing along the first base line.

Continue good luck on searching this site. It looks very promising.
