weekend trip with roman and keltic.

::huh:: :detecting: this weekend we went with 6 guys to the south of holland, Maastricht.
The erea is a roman and keltic place.
No roman finds for me.
But another friend of mine finds a roman broche.look at the picture.
Find a lot of coins 1700 and buckle,cross.1700.
Thats ok but these finds are also in my erea.

In one picture you see a golden keltic stater.
Every detectorist dream. :loveit:
This coin was find by a local detectorist 2 weeks ago.

Unfortunaly no romans for me but the weekend was super!!!!! thumbsup01

Cool wind mill Willems. I was stationed in Germany for six years and Holland was our favorite place to visit. Good hunting to ya.

In sept we are going back to the area.
It's a 1,5 hour drive.

Very nice pictures. I must be wonderfull to be able to detect where that much history is. 1700's coins are hard to come by around here. We do find some and even get some 1600's if we are real lucky lol Beautiful and peaceful looking area.
