Winter thaw gets me to 150 silver in Wisconsin

Never planned on getting out again and was content to end the year with 148 silver. Low and behold the Temps hit the 40's and the ground is completely thawed. Snuck out of work for a 1/2 day to see if two more silver could be found. First silver was a fairly deep '36 Merc on a decent signal. Hunted for another hour and found several wheats but no silver. Before leaving I decided to hit the same area I found the Merc and got an iffy signal 7-8" deep. I finally pinpointed a coin ball and figured it was a deep wheat. To my surprise a well worn Merc said hello for silver #150. Whether I get out anymore this year I am thrilled I got one more chance to swing. Wisconsin Digger

Great job hitting 150 Silvers. Who knows, you might even be able to get one more hunt in before it freezes again.
Happy Holidays, Don
