Thanks everyone, I was able to straighten it out and cleaned it. I found the makers mark MKD sterling on the inside. Found the exact same one on ebay for 39.95.
It was great to finally get out today to move a little dirt. I went to the old farm and dug up a lot of nails and stuff. I did finally get my first silver thimble:happydance01:.
