sounds like good advice from everyone i think i will force myself to hunt in manual more and try and get used to it especially in places i have hunted hard already and the new finds have dried up
seems like most guys hunt in manual sensitivity mid to upper 20s but every time i do that theres so much chirping and falsing its distracting so i switch back to auto and still seem to lock on to...

thats good to know but to be honest i skip 12-21s unless there really deep 500+ pulltabs later im sick of digging that number range lol
Has any one else noticed the number of nickels you find vs pennys and other coins, goes way up in heavily hunted places i kind of use it as a gage on how hard a site has been hunted in the past....
I am by no means and expert and i so bad wanted to stick with my made in the usa whites machine but if you go to the metal detecting video sites i would bet 7 out of 10 of your most successful silver...
there probly isnt many gold coins to find but at least i know i might get a prize by digging my normal signals
ok so its only the quarter eagle that falls the hardest in pull tab range the rest are close to other coin numbers thats good to know
not that i would ever scan across one but what are fe co numbers on an e trac for members of the eagle family my guess would be pulltab range anyone know
from watching videos of the ctx it doesnt sound like it does the minelab signature warble on deep silver or nobody hunts with it in multi conductive ?
the quarter i found today is a 69 but clean and deep so i know its been there a while i found a deep dime a while back the same way i also air tested both at home and the signals out of the ground...
why is it that late sixtys canada quarters and dimes which the book says are nickel can come out of the ground as clean as silver yet american nickels and nickel clad coins come out of the ground...
