Hey, thanks Tony. Been down here almost 3 years now and still trying to figure out this salt water. But it's always relaxing and enjoyable. Normally see dolphins, and sting rays, and this past...
Sorry for the sideways first pic. Don't know how to straighten it.
Been awhile since we posted, having a difficult year, but we are always out swinging every week. Always exciting to be neck deep out in the warm Florida waters, waiting for the thrill of ear piercing...
Hi all. Well, it's been a while since we made a post. Haven't had much ump to get out lately. I'm sadden to say that my wife of 35 years had suddenly passed in January, and I just haven't gotten out...
Welcome Justin. That beach hunting is s whole lot easier digging than up north! My wife and I moved down here 2 years ago this month. We are about an hour from Maderia Beach. Good luck and happy...
Awesome find Glen. Got to love them school hunts. Congrats :thumbsup02:
Way to go Cheap Thrills :thumbsup01:
I think people are more careful with their personal belongings out at the beaches. I do find my share of silver, but not as many coins and the ole yellow stuff...
Excellent Glen :perfect10:. Great job :congrats:
Outstanding Dave :thumbsup02:. Always wanted to dig up a cannon ball. Congrats to ya :thumbsup01:
Both are relics I bet. Yours just in better shape.
What exactly is written on both sides?
Interesting we found the same item in two different countries.
Nice going Ravenuts. Them piers are good areas to hunt. The one medallion you found looks similar to one I found in Scotland a couple years ago. I couldn't figure out what it was. Congrats to ya.
sounds like a great place to hunt Donald. My brothers lives on the edge of the Chancellorsville Battle Field there in Fredrichburg. I took my detector once for an hour hunt and found a mini ball in...

Thanks Don. Normally my wife and I are on a beach some where every weekend, and if we are out until sunset, 9 times out of 10, they are spectacular. Now, if I can just start locating some GOLD....
So true Donald.
Westmorelsnd Co, where about a is that. My folks are out side Manassas. I wish I detected growing up. Prime detecting in those parts. HH to ya
Since moving down here a year and a half ago, the misses and I have dug up about 1500 teeth, and still enjoy it. But when your out detecting and get to see some awesome blood red sunsets, well life...
Yes, I would say that's exactly right Donald. Half of getting out and digging is getting out and enjoying your site, whether it be a cellar hole, old battle ground or the beach.
Haven't had much luck detecting the Fl beaches in the past few months, but have enjoyed the sunsets.
Made a run out to a well know beach for shark teeth hunting the other day, and you could tell...
Awesome button. One worth setting in a display case. :congrats:
:shocked03::wow::omg: Big :congrats:
Awesome find, and great detail. :congrats:
Hey, thanks Tony.
Thats one thing nice about detecting with the wave runner, once I get too hot, I jump on and cool down before hunting the next spot. :thumbsup02:
Thanks Al. Haha, nope, the wife don't care much for pre-owned jewelry. BUT it got her thinking, and on our cruse we just got back from, she opted to purchase a new ring :hystericallaugh:.
Thanks Bell-Two and Ill Digger.
Hey Tim, hope your putting that new pin- pointer to use. My new one has been order for a month now and still don't have it.
Good hunting all
