> First let me say I don't think this true. A man told me yesterday that he was hunting for hogs and got one . And he got up to the hog that was dead, in the hogs front foot there was a $20...
That is a good idea. You might try all so putting some water prof tape on the bottom of the sock:huh: Just a idea??
I'll hunt about 3 sometimes 4 times a week and about 4 hr . in the morning only . Why just in the morning well I hunt a lot of old house that are no one live in , some bad people stay in them...
the back of the coins.
I didn't say but all these coins are half.
Found these a few years back with the f75 and 3 x6 coil in some very trashy spot.
I have been hunting for 17 years and the total clad = coins 173,705, $10,544.50. And about 9000 silver coin and most of this was found with a Fisher of some kind, have had other detectors but for not...
I use just the standard F75, but I use the small 3x7 coil all the time. I hunt a lot in the trash and it works very good there. I get a dime at about 7 where I live, the old cz5 is a little deeper....
Went to the old school for about 1 hr. ( started to rain) got 1.69 clad and a 1958-d dime. with the f75 and 3x7 coil.
Found this 1861-0 half a few mo. back just have not been on the forum to post it. Found with a F75 with the 3x7 coil.
I see you like the F 5 a lot. I never had the F 5 , but used the cz 's & F75 for a long time. The f series are very good detector in my book. I have had a lot of difference detectors and the fisher...
Found this at the beach but don't know what kind of coin it is??
Went today with the old cz 5 and 5 coil and got 2.73 clad, silver chain, and a 1944-d half. Just can't beet the cz's.
You well like the x5 if you go walk is slow and you'll get just about as much with it as if you had the large coil on. Ont thing you don't have to dig a large hole with the X5 coil. I have used one...
I had the 8x6 but didn't like it much ( just me) , but I use the x5 sunray coil all the time on the etrac. You can get a dime at about 7 and can run the sen. a little higher . I sure the x8 would be...
If you will look at the CZ ( CZ & 3d's) the most gold rings hit in foil & pull tabs & nickels are to the right of that. That separates some trash. On all the other detectors the gold rings hit in...
Looks like we are running about the same pattern. I use conductive , multi tones, auto sen. and check with man. of 28.
I used the etrac for 2 day and then went back with the f75 with 3x7 coil. I think what did help find the coins was the concentric coil. I think they do better it the heavy trash. A smaller foot...
This is the pattern I use and works good foe me. It is steal some nulling , but not as much as some patterns.
Go to Minelab forum for more, please.
I all so had to open the screen up on the etrac. All so when you get in very heavy trash and iron no matter how slow you got with the x5 coil sometimes it will null and miss things. On mine screen...
I had a LS and they are good . I liked the small coil 3x7 the best , you don't gig as deep, like 6.. Yes I did find some gold rings with it.
