Looks like 2024 is off to a great start for you, John.
You're made of tougher stuff than I; No winter detecting for me up here (but spring is coming!).

Wow! That is some haul, John.
Your research skills are humbling.
Both sides of my family are the typical, Irish potato famine story.
I do have one grandmother who immigrated to the U.S. from Nova Scotia (a branch I would like to research some more).
Another great job of researching my friend.
Congrats on all of those great finds.
John - you are the master of research!
Congrats on the new site and on such great finds.
John, as usual, stunning finds.
Those little harmonicas were one of the 'toys' you would get in Cracker Jacks when I was very young.
Once again, John, your research skills are amazing.:notworthy:
Who else goes into a hayfield in Vermont and walks out with a 1727 reale?
Well done!
Awesome group of finds, John.
Love the 1800s token, but I think my fav is the dandy button. Gorgeous!
I live in Vermont, but don't find this kind of stuff.
John has researching superpowers, and he spends a lot of time swinging the machine. :notworthy:
Maybe there's a lesson there. :thinkingabout:
Wow! That looks like it could have fallen out of someone's pocket yesterday.

John -- What can I say?
This is simply amazing.
Care to elaborate? :)
Amazing, John. Unbelievable.
Looks like you had a great summer, John. That 1820 is gorgeous.
Please try to remember that I have yet to find a crotal bell. If you find every one of them in Vermont, I'll NEVER get one! :detecting:
Final follow up:
AT Pro arrived on Friday, as promised.
Works like new (which it essentially is -- new board and new case). The new case included new connectors.
There were new mounting screws...
Amazing find, John, and a great piece of local history. :thumbsup01:
Sent the AT PRO in on Monday. I got a call today (Friday) saying they are replacing the board and the case. She could not explain to me why I needed a new case (mine looks brand new) other than her...
Wow. That 1853 is beautiful.
I'm guessing it's a decorative piece off of a carriage (found in an area where previous finds make me suspect carriages would park to attend burials at an adjoining cemetery).
Anyone?

Please post a shot after you clean it up.
That's an awesome find!

I e-mailed Garrett and had a friendly response within 30 minutes.
She asked a few questions. I responded, and within an hour I had another reply suggesting that I send it in for service.
It is...
Thanks, guys.
I was hoping that interference was the answer (I had a new electronic car ignition/lock key fob in my pocket that puts out a continuous signal), but that wasn't it.
Turning down the...
I've never had a moment of trouble with my AT PRO.
Today, after detecting for a short while, it started to false when it wasn't being swung. First, it would show mostly "53" and a mid tone. Then, it...
