I agree with Epi....I would say the intention of that wording in an ordinance would be placed there to stop metal detecting. I would ask some more questions to those in the know before swinging my...

No sealant here. It a good idea to be able to remove it every now and then to clean. I clean mine after every hunt. A little water that gets between the cover and coil will not hurt the detector....
Just in melt value alone I made my fee back and more. I think it was more fun just getting together with other detectors and having some fun. This club was a 100 miles away from me and I only know a...

Back to the same park I've been hitting the last three times. Over 300 coins and counting so far. Nothing heart stopping yet. Some wheaties, a silver 1894 Mexican 10 centavos, a couple of tax tokens,...
Back to the same park today for three hours. Netted 60 more coins (152 coins so far) and some misc. including this 1894 Mexican 10 Centavos coin. Too bad it was hacked up for a novelty coin

Here's the two tokens I found. The one on the left appears to be a arcade token or something simular. The one the right turns out to be a Arizona State Tax Token circa 1940's. As you can see be the...
Unfortunately no silver this time around. Went to a local park yesterday and I guess I'm getting rid of the easy stuff so I can get down to real business........
Also dug two (2) tokens of some...
