Okiedigger and I took a road trip to an area we went to last year on our annual Midwest hunt. We both managed to make some good finds though not as numerous as we would have liked. Here are some pics of what we ended up with.

I love those, Steve! The SLQ with an S mintmark is sweet. thumbsup01
I need to join you guys on your next road trip.
That 1892 IH looks great! 8)
Those are great coins Steve I love that barber... I have yet to find a barber Anything in Iowa. They are hard to come by, as are the IH's. The one in the last photo is in beautiful condition. Coins tend to come out of the ground very nice in the Midwest... as opposed to the NE where they take a bit more of a beating
You two both did very well on your trip. Obviously some good research preceded it. I have had dry spells in Iowa that go on for a loooong time....

Looks like they don't use manure out there, Steve. Them IH's & wheaties should be all corroded, shouldn't they?

I had to drive 300 miles to get there. Then Steve made me drive because he was scared he was going to hit an Amish.
