Button ID Please From Kemper Military School----Have I.D'd

Hi all, finally made it out after two weeks. Went to Vegas, and this was the first chance I had to get out.. Went back over to Kemper Military School this morning and inbetween some rain drops I found this unusal button along with some other military clothing insignia's. Any one have an idea what this symbol is? Good hunting to all, thumbsup01 Eric

    Hey, thanks tanacat and del.
A monogramed button is what I just heard from a member on the Detecting Scotland Forum also. He said a family monogramed. Is there a way on finding out more on this del?
And yes, the K.M.S. does stand for Kemper Military School. They opened thier doors in 1869 and closed in 2002. The movie Chukie was actually filmed there back in the 80's..
Good hunting to you both, thumbsup01

Hey del, well there was actually the manufactures name on the back, that I didn't see at first. Pettibone Bros. was a clothing manufacture from 1880-1920 and they manufactured these buttons from 1903-1917 just for Kemper Military School. Pretty cool finding stuff, and having to research it's origin. It's like getting a two-fer. Good hunting to ya Dan. thumbsup01 Eric
