    Silver, Thimble, & Stuff....

Went to a park over in Jersey today about 30 mins from me. I used to hunt there back in Feb./March, when I first started to swing the coil. I've gone back a few times, but there was always a ton of kids running around so I never bothered to stop. School's back in now and the park was empty. Small park and dates back to the early 1920's. First time I hit this place I found a 1942 Merc about 8 down. These are today's keepers...:

Thimble (Nice heart design around bottom.)

    1941 Nickel
    1929 Wheatie

Well at least you got another silver for the pile. It was worth going back.

For park hunting... you gotta love when the kids are back in school.

Love the War nickel. Looks like a place to spend more time.
