Currently have the Garrett 550 but am researching other models. I seem to see lots of folks listing the Minelab brand.....

I am what has been classified as a buffet hunter. I hit the playgrounds/schools/parks for the coins, beaches for the jewelry or whatever, and various locations for the relics. That description probably applies to most, don't you think?
