    Winder?

Found this during Al and I's field hunt. The small end is threaded. I am thinking it is a winder of some sort. Confirmation? Suggestions?

Rob has anyone told you , you have the most steadiest hands lol lol watch winders don't generally have threads on the outside of the shaft. they usually have an iron or steel end-sleeve inside of the shaft bacause brass wouldn't hold up very long to the constant winding and tension.

yeah .... well..... let me know how that turns out for you lol lol

it does look about the right size for one and first impression would indicate it could serve as one but like i said every one i've seen has somekind of iron or steel end that goes into the pocket watch.

That's what I was going to say too. I don't know for sure of course
But being threaded at the end, would make me think of, some sort of fastener
