    Mini Button (Updated Pic's):huh:thinkingabout:

Got a chance to detected out of state in my wife's home town in Illinois. Gained permission to detect all the parks in town and ended up finding this little button looking thing. I say button, because it shows what looks like a post on the back side. There are no markings any where and it only meassures 1/2 across. Any ideas would be greatly appriciated. Thanks, Eric

Maybe it's a 20 year pin. Like the kind a company would give for service.

could it be a railroad tie tag , a tag that specifies when it was installed or how long it should remain in service before removing??

    Thanks for looking all.
fyrffytr1; It looks like the size a 20 year pin could be like.
del; Yea, this is a big rail road town, back in the days, and even now, so its possible.

It looks like a pin to me, even rust where the pin came out from the back......that's my educated guess
