    Any Ideas? update!

This looks to be made of copper and is about the same size of a canning lid but with a handle. It has the date of 1912 on it and the letters that appear to be one of the following, Resc, Kesc, or even after looking at it, it could be Rex or Kex. attached are 2 front pics and 1 back pic.
I found it !! it is the back part of a REX Krewe favor hand mirror, 1912, Mardi Gras, in good shape sells for $75.00 to $125.00, go to www.nealauction.com/archive/1110/lot/mardigras/
they have a picture of it

I've traveled a long way, and many of the roads weren't paved.
