Got out this am with Drew and Merc for a bit. We hit a coule holes but didn't have much luck then deicded to hit a field nearby. Targets were few and far between but it was an older area so we kept at it. Ended up getting a 38-39 on the Safari at about 6 inches down. Called the guys over to check the signals then started to dig and out popped copper number 50 on the year an 1807 Draped Bust in pretty good shape other than where the date is. (First three digits were as clear as day the last one was a bit of a challenge) Other than that didnt find much hit parts of a couple shoe buckles and the usual shotgun shells and scrap brass. It was a great time out and I'm so glad to get number 50 behind me. Thanks for looking and happy hunting.
