    War Nickels

I found a few decent war nickels this year, but most of them were totally toasted and one I did not find until I started to clean up my clad for the year. Anyway, I decided to throw the war nickels in the tumbler with a 50/50 water and vinegar mix for about two hours. Here are the results. I am pretty happy with how they turned out. I wish I would have taken a before picture, because some of these things were pretty nasty.

I can tell by the way a couple of them look ::, that they were probably REALLY nasty before the treatment. lol
