    Field finds

Hi Gang! Been kind of busy here with with the golf course season winding down and all the maintenance work needing to be done, but still managing to get out to the fields with Mike on the weekends. These are some of my recent finds from there.
Any help with the ID on the 2 buttons is appreciated.

Is the Commonwealth a button? If so what is the backmark? I have the same button with a backmark of AMP BOSTON and it was made by Aaron Merrill Peasley out of Boston between 1810 abd 1823. This button has also been atributed to the Ancient and Honorable Artillery.

Yes Dan, I'm sure the other one is a button. Its concave and has the shank on the back. I was just looking through a canadian coin book I have from 1963 and found the Brock token. Pretty interesting...

very nice Steve it is as Al said , a Massachusetts Ancient and Honorable Artillery button from about 1810 (war of 1812 era ) and was probably silver plated at one time . its a great military relic Steve .
