    My good deed...

I have a few metal detectors posted online for sale. This afternoon I got a phone call from a guy who wanted to buy one because he just lost his wedding ring in his front yard. He lives at Smiths point, right on the bay and he got 5 feet of...water in his house from the storm. Lost his roof, boat, hot tub and 2 jet ski's. Not to mention almost everything in his house.
He was throwing a box up on his roof today when he felt his ring fly off. He searched for a few hours then called me. I told him he didn't have to buy one of my machines, I'll come over and find it.
When I got there his yard was trashed. Roof shingles, nails and garbage everywhere. He showed me where he thought he lost it. 20 minutes later I found it only 20 feet from where he thought he lost it. Under some roof shingles and a chair in the corner of his yard.
He told me I saved his life, his wife would have killed him. I took a picture of the life I saved today.

Nice job being a good MDing citizen! After the hell they went through with Sandy, losing that ring would have been nearly unbearable. Thanks for being such a good guy!

Good job, Steve! That must have been pretty noisy with all the nails and stuff. Huh?

Excellent job Steve. Just look at his smile, like a reprieve from the governor at the last minute.
