Nice coin!!! What was the soil condition? Clay, dark, light? Here's a Small Motto) I found. All of mine have a Nice dark green patina(holds the detail nicely. Congrat's again!!

SJV: This coin was near a tree lined property line. The soil was real loamy with lots of leaf compost. The plug actually disintegrated when I fliped it over. Because of this the coin actually popped out of the loose soil and I didn't find it until I covered up the hole and rescanned the area with the coil. Found it on top of the ground 3-4 from the hole. I think this 2-center held up really well because it didn't get to compacted with soil and water drained away nicely. I was just plain luckyOriginally Posted by sjv
