    Mindblowing kind of day

Mike and I went out to an old property this morning that has lots of history to it. I had a 3 reale day We have an open invitation to come back anytime we like. Its a big piece of property with a river and a pond. During the Revolution the British came through here, stayed at the house and watered their horses at the pond. Looks like I'll be getting a water machine soon.

GREAT finds. You guys are sooooooo lucky. How deep is the river? Crossing there? Does sound like its time for a shallow water machine. Congrats!

Congratulations buddy! You have been researching and getting some fantastic ground to hunt over the last couple of years. :->

I am happy to see you are on a monster of a site to swing your coil. Three Spanish coins recovered in a hunt is not one I've seen
    posted on any forum.

Like Tim said... This is the hunt dreams are made of! Yep!

Keep us posted when you are in the water. :->

    Re: Mindblowing kind of day

Thanks everyone for the nice replies. The first hunt at this site, Mike and I found some large cents, buttons, relics and the silver thimble with the initials. I made a display case with these items and gave it to the woman who owns the house. She thought it was awesome! Even though she gave us free reign of the property, next time back we plan on bringing them a bottle of wine and a good cigar for the husband to show our appreciation for allowing us to detect their land. To us, its the right thing to do when allowed to hunt private property.

What a day Steve!, Thanks for calling me over when you hit that first reale, loved watching it come out of the ground! I'll pick up some nice cigars for the homeowner and I'll keep one in my pocket for when I dig the 8 reale that I'm sure is hiding there.

3 Real's in one hunt is pretty unheard of. It took me 3 years to get that many!

Yes, this one will be hard to beat but I'll keep trying | Mike and I got back over to the Reale house today for a quick 30 minute hunt. One nice keeper that i'll post later after a cleaning. happydance02 The woman who owns the house was happy to see us again She's got a historic society meeting later in the week and she said she was so impressed with our digging skills she's going to get us permission to hunt at least 2 private properties in the old part of town! Early 1700s old! happydance02 <:
