    finally figured out what these things are.cellar hole hunt with rcat

    never could figure what these were when i dug em.got out with Rcat(ron) on sunday to a cellar hole.
    they are from a chain pump.always dug single ones.never a chain of them.2 ih's and my 1st complete pocketwatch.train motiff on back.

    Nice pocket watch. The only complete one that I ever found was a real cheap model.
    Yours looks to have a nice ceramic face.

    If you ever decide to try to open the pocket watch and if the inside are too corroded, give me the serial number and I can give you a good idea of the date of the watch.

    im not sure how to open it? theres no little nub to pop the back off? does it unscrew?

    Nice find on the pocket watch. I can't make out what is on the ornate keyhole escutcheon. Is it a picture of something ?

    normally you can take a pocketknife, along the back edge and it would pop off
