    Introductions

Hello from West Texas. My name is Bill and I've been metal detecting since the 70's when I came across a Whites that my best friends father had. I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Prior to that we just prospected for artifacts by sight the way grandpa taught. He was the real deal and was the greatest prospector I have ever seen. Quit for a while as life has a way of demanding much of you. Started up again about 16 years ago. Armed with my AT Pro, it's how I plan my days.

West Texas, huh? Best BBQ I ever had was in a tiny joint down by the railroad tracks in Abilene.

I've traveled a long way, and many of the roads weren't paved.
