Beautiful Evening & Silver to Boot

I got out for a nice evening hunt tonight. I headed to one of my favorite spots - a local school I had hunted 34 times before tonight. Trip #35 was pretty good. Targets are pretty sparse at this point so I dig most everything hoping for gold, though only cruddy zincs and can slaw so far. The odd thing about this school is that for one whole summer the detector would not run there - it suffered constant nulling and falsing at any sensitivity level. Whatever the issue was is gone now though. The E-trac ran smoothly, the dirt was perfect for digging, and the weather was fantastic to boot. I spent two blissful hours with only the hum of the Etrac, the sounds of birds and the wind, and my thoughts. I wound up with 44 coins total which included a Merc, a Rosie, 8 wheats, and two older nickels. All in all it was a very nice evening.

    Happy hunting!

I'm glad the weather is nice there, it has been raining steady for the past 4 days here and there is a lot of flooding.
