My stepson and I set out to find something good today. He's a corrections officer and a brick wall if I haven't clarified that. He's a great companion and really likes detecting. He scored a 1912 D V nickel and I was so happy for him. It's important to me for him to keep finding something cool, especially when I'm picking the location. I'm sure I now have him hooked. Our first stop netted me two wheat backs and him zip. We drove around wasting time, so finally I decided to go to an old haunt that is a huge challenge to pull anything good from.

The quarter came from the same area an hour later when I revisited that spot. I did tell him to work that small area with me first > he was cool and real happy with his Denver minted V. I was using the ATPro 11 x 8 DD. I like this detector for coinshooting very much
