    Back to V Nickel Park - May 1, 2013

    Another short hunt after work today, this time for 2 1/2 hours. I had long ago given up on finding silver at this park, but I got a surprise Barber Dime today that was about 8 deep and rang up like a wheat cent. I also got two more V Nickels and an Indian Head. This park is a fun place to hunt, it's not too trashy and the locals are friendly.

    Pretty funny that all of the coins are dated within a 2-year span.

    That is kinda weird Kinda dates the place and it's activities huh? :: lol

    barber dime v nickels and a indian sounds like a great days hunt to me congrats on your finds i see that you get nickels a lot i must not pay attention to the nickel signals as much i get very few any more dennis | |

    I wish i had a worked out park like that around here! (i probably do) Excellent finds for a shorty hunt. And a silver bonus. What more could ya ax for?
