Holy Scnikeys Major Key Date BATMAN !! ** Updated info and Pictures...

I haven't been out since the 5th... but I got out to one of my favorite parks to hunt and my 1st signal was a keeper from 5-6 - An 1885 V NICKEL !!!!!! Holy Schnikeys Batman !!! I've never recovered a semi-key or key date US anything... Its the holy grail for this series... I also recovered an 1896 Barber and 1917 Mercury Dimes...

Toss in a buffalo and 3 wheaties and make a nice group of keepers tonight...

**** UPDATE *********************

So... talking to some people... This coin would never get graded due to the bad environmental damage... We all know how Buffalo's and V's are in the ground... As the night went on just touching the coin was causing flaking pieces to come off... so I did some brushing and well... The strongest part of the coin is the date This coin would only be a place holder until someone could afford a proper 1885... I have some renaissance wax on it for now...
