    Came across this yesterday.

    Nice article! I saw a show about these guys who detect for meteorites in Kansas I think/ among other places. They use a tractor with a home-made detector with wiring and pvc pipe. it looks about a 5x5 foot contraption. They say meteorites can go for over $100,000 or more. They shape them, polish them and sell them in showrooms to the rich.

    WOW! I wanna be him for a while lol That is one nice nugget I mean boulder lol. Must be nice to be walking on thousands of ounces of gold. Kinda makes working for someone else obsolete thumbsup01

    Oh yeah I've seen some and they are AMAZING- the colors are really 'out of this world' lol

    That should be on that show Treasure Hunting in America. Is that show still on? I've seen repeats but that's all. I think it was on the travel channel.

    i think if that was my property I would have to call Kirsten Gum. I know that would get her out to hunt with me.
