great day at the old park

I haven't had a lot of time to detec this summer, but I got out this morning and Im glad I did. after digging plenty of clad & trash, I ended up with 9 silvers a 1835 large cent and this 14k gold ring with 7 small diamonds, I had them tested and they are real. now that is a first for me. I hope to get out tomorrow as well.

Lots of silver, a large cent and gold....does it get any better than that? lol Nice That ring put a dent in paying off your machine Lucky you got a date off of that large cent. The 1830's series have smaller dates and they seem to corrode off easily.

That was my best day by far. Before that it was 6 silver coins, that is also only my second LC ever. The ring was icing on the cake.
