    Re: New To The Site

Well Del, I'm in the middle of nowhere here in Mid-Michigan. I have several detectors (Minelab & Fisher), hunt land and water, and belong to the Michigan Treasure Hunters MD club.
    Divorced.....twice.
    No kids.
And I live with my dog, barn cat, & a small herd of horses.

I also ride horses & sport bikes, hunt with everything I can get my hands on, and dive locally.
I make my living as a farrier (that's a horseshoer for those that don't know nuthin).

    Re: New To The Site

    Thanks Del...and all.
The area that I live in was only settled in the mid 1830s, so finding that token in that condition was a thrill. I still can hardly believe that I found it in a park that everyone has pounded for years. It might have been the deepest coin find that I have ever dug (I almost gave up). It won me a FOTM award at that month's club meeting.

Welcome aboard Longhair from western MA. Some nice finds there. A farrier aye? We could have used you last year when we were trying to determine the age of some horseshoes that we thought may be from 1675 lol

Thanks again all for the warm welcome.

Kenny, we'll have to get together sometime for a hunt. I'm about half way between you and Lansing.
