    Firsts for me.

Yesterday I found a couple of Firsts for me.

    First coin from 1800's
    First 2 Center - 1865
First Indian Head Penny - 1880

Here is the 2 Center after mild cleaning and soaking in mineral oil overnight. The IH is still soaking.

yep, these were found in Keene.

Very exciting to knock two off the list in one hunt....or three (1st 1800s). I was up to Concord for a hunt last year...didn't do as well as you. Congrats and keep it up. |

    Re: Firsts for me.

on some nice firsts. I have yet to find a two cent piece and it's on my list. My in-laws lived in Keene before they passed on so I know the place pretty well but that was before I started metal detecting.

    Continued good hunting.

    An old park.
I'm hoping it will clean up a little better after a long soaking. Still haven't tried cleaning the IH.
