    Windy But Great

Got out for some good hunting this morning. It is insanely windy here today - gusts up to 60 mph. Had to chase my hat at one point and almost got knocked over a bunch of times. I hit some tot lots and then the dirt a bit. Scored 139 coins worth $11.99 including a Susan B dollar and one wheat penny (the Merc in the pic is from yesterday). I also landed two silver rings - a sweet vintage looking Cub Scout ring, and a TINY ring with a small piece of what looks like malachite. I got two other bits of silver too - a small loop that reads daughter and another which reads mother - the former fits inside the latter. Lots of the usual other trinkets & junk too... I must confess I get a kick out of the stuff kids drop. It was a great morning out.

    Happy Hunting!

Some nice finds there Z. It is really weird what is found in tot lots But that's OK as long as they keep losing it lol Some nice rings there and I agree, it looks like Malachite. I love that stone Did you get wind burned? lol Or sandbalsted if there is any loose dirt around

Congrats on beating out the wind!!! It was blowing like crazy here in the Binghamton area, had a soccer game with my son and it was fun watching it kill or fly the ball around!!

That is a very nice group of finds, Z. I do like the way you present them in that photo. It's a great snapshot.
