Welcome to the forum from CT. Somebody here could advise you on a detector if you provide more parameters.
I hear really good things about Austin. I'd like to visit one day. I was in San Antonio a few years ago and loved it.

Welcome aboard from western MA. Browse around and look over the many types of coins, jewelry and relics being found here. Then give us an idea of the type of hunting you would like to pursue. That will give us an idea of which machines you should consider.

Welcome to the forum and the hobby from SE Wisconsin. Good luck getting started. Do your research and choose a detector that is in your price range and from one of the major manufacturers. Your best bet would be to find a multi line dealer near you. I'm sure they could set you up with the right detector and Equipement.

Welcome to the forum from Mississippi. Type of detector depends a lot on what kind of hunting you plan to do. Keep checking back and read all you can. Research! Again, welcome.
